Frequently Asked Questions
Questions & Answers about the SWAT HOOKUP CARD
How do I get my actual SWAT HOOKUP CARD?
When you purchase your card, we instantly email you a Temporary Membership Card that you can print out and start using. Then in about a week you will receive a plastic membership card and member kit in the mail at the address you give us when you sign up.
Can I buy a membership and use it the same day?
Yes, EXCEPT at Snow Valley. The soonest you can get your Snow Valley free lift ticket is the next calendar day after the date shown on your Temporary Membership card.
Can I buy memberships for friends and family?
Yes. In fact, a SWAT HOOKUP CARD makes a great gift. Just make sure that the name and address information you use for others will match their ID, because some partners check to make sure the person using an offer is the actual member. Since child members usually don’t have ID, they should be with an adult who can verify their identity.
Can I buy more than one membership per person?
No. Memberships are limited to one per person.
Do I have to enter each member separately, or can I buy memberships for my whole family or group at once?
Each individual membership must be purchased separately. If you are buying memberships for a group of 20 or more and paying for them with one credit card, click Contact Us and provide us with the details and we will have a representative contact you.
My dad and I have the same name and the system won’t let me purchase a second membership for him in that name. What can I do?
Click on Sr. and Jr. for the appropriate memberships and the system will then allow both names to be entered.
When do the SWAT HOOKUP CARD offers end?
Each offer has different date parameters, which are outlined on the SWAT HOOKUP CARD website. Most offers are good until the end of the winter season, which varies from resort to resort.
Do you have discounts to resorts or other deals that aren’t listed on the SWAT HOOKUP CARD site?
All the current offers are listed on the SWAT HOOKUP CARD site, but we do add discounts throughout the season. And when that happens we will post it on the site and send you an email to let you know.
My free Snow Valley lift ticket wasn’t in the membership package you mailed to me. How do I get it?
We do not send actual lift tickets through the mail. You show your SWAT HOOKUP CARD (or temporary membership card) and ID at the resort to get your free lift ticket.
I lost my card! What should I do?
Click Contact Us and give us your member number and other information by email so we can send you a replacement plastic card as well as a copy of your temporary membership card, which you can use until the actual card arrives in the mail. If you saved a copy of your temp card on your computer, you can print it out again and use that.
I gave you the wrong (or incomplete) mailing address so I’m afraid I won’t get my membership card.
Click Contact Us and give us your member number and the correct address, and we will send you a replacement card.
I gave you the wrong email address.
Click Contact Us and provide us with your correct email address.
I didn’t get the email with my Temporary Card. What happened?
Check your “Spam” or “Junk” inbox. If it’s there, please change your settings to allow emails from us. If it’s not there, you may have entered your email address incorrectly. Click Contact Us and provide us with your correct email address and we’ll re-send your Temporary Card.
I was unable to print the Temporary Membership page and I am leaving for the mountain very soon. What can I do?
You MUST bring a printed copy of the Temporary Membership page with you to Snow Valley. You cannot simply show the page on your smartphone or other device. One option is to forward the email you received when you purchased your membership to someone else with a working printer.
I got an error message or a blank screen during (or after) the credit card transaction.
Try this: close the SWAT HOOKUP CARD website completely, and then reopen it.
Fill out your information and buy the membership again using the exact same
information. If the system won’t allow you to purchase the membership
again, this means your first transaction went through and you are a member.
Next, click Contact Us and tell us what happened, along with the membership
name and address and your email address and phone number. We will
investigate and make sure that you receive your membership card.
What is the last date I can purchase a membership?
We will stop selling 2011-12 season membership on April 22, 2012.
Will I be billed monthly or annually for my SWAT HOOKUP CARD?
No. There is a one-time fee per season of $18 and there are no other fees or charges. We will not automatically renew your membership each year.
Do I have to buy another SWAT HOOKUP CARD for each new season?
Yes. You need to renew your membership for each season.
